Rotorua Welldrilling co is a fourth generation, family owned business. We specialize in the geothermal well drilling, servicing, maintenance and testing. Our company has a proud history providing geothermal services for the residential, rural, commercial and local government sectors. Founded in 1948 by Geoff Brown, a man who made a name for himself as a pioneer of geothermal well drilling and a force to be reckoned with when it came to wild wells and blowouts, he cemented our company's presence in Rotorua. With this experience, the company has developed techniques that have become industry standards in geothermal well drilling today.

We were a founding a member of the New Zealand Drillers Federation in 1975 and are the preferred supplier of geothermal drilling, servicing and maintenance to the Bay of Plenty Regional Council & Rotorua Lakes Council.We also hold pre-qualification for contracts with the Rotorua Lake Council and Bay of Plenty Regional Council.
GEOTHERMAL WELLDRILLING
This is our specialty. From start to finish we are superior in this sector: Nothing beats our experience, coupled with our purpose built rigs and equipment. We manage construction of the majority of geothermal wells in the Rotorua field and have completed wells in Taupo, Wai-O-Tapu and other regions. We have a solid history of completing production wells, re-injection wells and down hole heat exchanger systems.
MAINTENANCE AND COMPLIANCE
We take pride in making this process easy and effective, supporting a long, safe working life of your geothermal well. Our pricing is very competitive and the results are top quality. We are capable of all aspects of well head maintenance and compliance remedial work. Our company is the provider of three-monthly wellhead inspection to the Bay of Plenty Regional council.
